Christian's multi disciplinary art practice begins with his love for the drawing line—trusting the first line of intuition, vulnerability and "gut reaction”. His visual language with drawing, painting, collage and sculpture is driven by curiosity and the unpredictable outcome of making. His sensitivity and obsession for color and shape help construct the visual currents that transmit the narrative from image to image. Christian's body of work includes his current individual studio practice and his  shared Clayton Brothers collaborative that spanned 20 years: 1996-2016. His collaborative work has mounted ten solo exhibitions in galleries and museums in the US, Europe and Asia. Christian lectures nationally in Europe and Asia. His work is in museums and  foundations; public, corporate, and private collections around the world  including the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Brooklyn Museum, and  Saatchi Gallery. His work has been featured in publications such as Art In America, Juxtapoz Magazine, Flash Art, Hi-Fructose Magazine, New York Times, Los Angeles Times and the Huffington Post, The New Yorker and RollingStone.  In 2015 he was awarded "The Great Teacher Award," from the Art Center  College of Design, where he taught for more than 20 years. His teaching credentials also include Cal State University Northridge and Otis College of Design.

Printing & Framing

  • Our Giclée Fine Art Prints are printed and framed right here in Orange County, California.
  • Using state of the art Epson Fine Art Printers, we use archival inks and acid-free Matte Fine Art watercolor paper to create prints of museum-standard quality.
  • The prints are mounted on solid wood frames, built with a 2-inch matboard to provide the sturdy feel, flush setting and quality aesthetic you'd find in any fine art gallery.
  • Our frames come in three different styles to choose from white, black, or white oak and are fitted with framing-grade acrylic.
  • They are ready to hang on delivery with WallBuddies for a secure, flush fit to your wall, allowing your print to take immediate pride of place.

We do offer all free shipping on all orders in the US at this time. All frames are custom made to order and will take less than 5 business days to ship out. You will be able to track your packages through tracking found in your email post purchase. Please ensure that your order is being delivered to an address where you can safely acquire your package, as we cannot take responsibility for stolen packages.
